Different nationalities

Klaus and Rhoda, your wedding is one of the most spectacular I’ve ever seen. It has the order that calls to mind Klaus’s German heritage and the charm and dignity of Rhoda’s Sudanese tradition. What’s more, it’s easy even for the likes of me to figure out who’s on the groom’s side and who’s on the bride’s!

Sean and Rachel, like the two of you, your wedding is truly an original affair. But I guess you couldn’t decide which of your two diverse traditions would take precedence. – the Irish or the Jewish. So tonight we’re feasting on corned beef and cabbage – but toasting to the bride and groom with Manichewitz!
