You know, there is a reason why, against my natural inclination, I am standing up here in front of friends and strangers alike talking a lot of nonsense. I’m doing it for you two, because you mean so much to me.

I did promise to say at least one nice thing about you two, but I'm more than happy to exceed my quota. You've both been there for me in my own times of need, and I truly do feel privileged to know you; as a couple and individuals, you will forever be my friends.

Now while I do appreciate that Lynx gift set, I really didn't need a token of your appreciation for doing this job today. Being chosen in the first place was enough in itself, and I feel honoured to have been part of your special day; it truly is the greatest gift I've ever received.
