Meaning of bride & groom’s names

It's my job to compliment the beautiful bride and also to say something profound about the groom. The first part is easy. Linda, you look stunning and Paul is a very lucky man. I looked up the meaning of Paul’s name and discovered, and I'm not surprised by this, that Paul is actually a derivation of the Italian name Roberto, meaning ‘Successful Commander’ or ‘Winner of Arguments’. From this, we can easily deduce that Linda must mean; 'No Paul, you're wrong'.

I was relieved to learn that Erica’s name means “ever powerful ruler” since Matt’s going to need someone to keep him in check even if his name does mean “gift from God.” Erica, be sure to remind him of who “has the power” when he gets out of line?
