You can say what you like about the hip-hop skills of this best-man-come-MC. Okay, so the rapping style’s more Run DMC than Jay-Z, and maybe he won’t be in the running for next year’s Grammys, but kudos to him, we say, for his old skool stylings. The crowd provide the beat - hindered slightly, perhaps, by the champagne running in their veins - and they’re certainly laughing in all the right places, which is a sure and certain sign that the man on the microphone knows his audience and is playing them like a pro.
