You live far from the groom

I don’t have the opportunity to see Paul as often as I’d like to, but the friendship, the communication is meaningful to me. Distance and time do not affect a real friendship. Whether I see Paul once a year or once a week, it doesn’t matter, as I know we will always be there for each other.

Though I live many miles away from where we are gathered today, I would have crawled here on my hands and knees just to be a part of Paul and Linda’s special day. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for my friend. Paul and I have been like brothers for some time, and even though I now live far away, we are as close today as we always were. I am so happy that Paul has now found the perfect woman to spend his life with, and I want both he and Linda to know that even though my home is far away, I will always be close at heart.
