  1. A wedding is a time for happiness, excitement and romance. It's also an occasion when family and friends are entertained in the best possible style. Today I know you will all agree that our hosts have gone overboard on this occasion and in fact they are setting a precedent that will be a hard act to follow. Nonetheless I know you will also agree that nobody deserves a celebration like this more than Linda and Paul.

  2. I'd like to recognize some pretty important people in the audience today, and as a matter of fact… without them we wouldn't be here. That would be Paul's parents, Alan and Carol Wilson, and Linda's parents, Ray and Sally Bradly! To all of you, thanks for making today happen! I know you've worked hard – all the way from raising two of the finest people I know – to working through the entire wedding planning, which resulted in this beautiful event! Here's to a job well done!
