Paul joined the army for a while – not because he wanted to see the world, but because he wanted the world to see him.

Paul is, as the army requires, a man of outstanding character. I believe his military background has shaped him into the ideal candidate for marriage – he’s already used to taking orders. Joking aside, he deserves a wonderful wife and in Linda he has undoubtedly secured the best. It occurred to me that being a groom is a bit like embarking on another tour of duty. After all you are going to live in a new and different world. In your marriage you will start new traditions and customs yet you will undoubtedly hang on to some you learned at home.
