How you met

I was fifteen when I first met Paul and we soon became close. It was great to have someone to hang out with, a best friend, because being a teenager is never easy. Rejection is the worst thing. I know all about the humiliation of being turned away; from football teams, from jobs, from women. Yep, I’ve seen Paul do all those things, and he carried himself with dignity throughout.

I first met Paul 13 years ago when I joined his Saturday afternoon role-playing game club. I was new to the rules and couldn't understand why Paul always got to wear the gimp suit. And as everyone here who went on his stag do will testify, it's a passion that still lurks deep.
