Groom is great husband material

As best man, I’m supposed to offer some insight into married life for the bride and groom. Now, never having been married myself, I’m not sure I’m qualified to give such advice. The one thing I will say to Linda is this: if Paul turns out to be half as loyal and supportive a husband as he has been a friend, you can look forward to a very long and very happy marriage.

Paul’s been a great friend to me, and knowing him as well as I do, I can guarantee Linda that over the coming years he will provide you with absolutely nothing … (very long pause before remembering to turn over your last note) ... Except love, happiness, and above all, great fun!
