Paul has always enjoyed the theatre and performing for amateur dramatic societies. I remember the day Paul told me he’d got his first part. He’d been given the role of a man who’d been married for five years. It was a great start for Paul and I was certain that if he could just keep at it, one day he’d get a speaking part.

Early on in Paul's school life, he decided to tread the boards as a thespian. His first opportunity came when his junior school was putting on a major production of “Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs”, in which Paul was cast as one of the dwarfs. And very soon, he had made the part his own. From the outset, he personified his role day and night, living and breathing the essence of his character. And many say they’ve never since seen a more virtuoso performance of Dopey.
