Under achiever

The quality I admire most in Paul is that throughout his life, whenever he has come to the end of a significant journey, whether it’s leaving university or running a race, he takes a moment to look back at the ground he’s covered, and he is somehow able to find satisfaction in finishing fourth or not finishing at all.
