Tight with money

The happy couple picked a beautiful day to get married and it’s been a wonderful occasion so far. But I never received a formal invitation to the wedding, so I just hope I haven’t eaten a meal meant for someone else. Was it merely an innocent oversight, or was Paul being prudent on the stamp buying front?

Over the many years I've known Paul I've always been able to rely on him for two things. First, he loves a good party, so you're all under orders from him to have a good time this evening. Secondly, he doesn't normally like paying for it, so you’re all under orders from me to have a good time this evening.
